There’s even a seven day intensive belly dance course organised in association with Delhi’s Banjara School of Dance. As a part of their city ride heritage project, Future Media School presents Tram Tales. Particpants will be seated in a tram that will be parked at the Gariahat Tram Depot, where they will be shown 10 short films about the tram.Other than this, the particpants will also be given a glimpse of the past using mediums such as videos, music, art, photography, games, food and interaction. The event is curated by Kheya Chattopadhyay and Aditya Sengupta by who are trained in film making, theatre and performing arts from Cambridge School of Arts.

Birla Academy Of Art And Culture brings to you An Exploration of Tagore Songs- a musical evening with music, songs, poetry and discussions on the works by Rbindranath Tagore. The event is being orgnaised to commemorate the 155th birth anniversary of the kavi guru and is organized by International Bengli Poetry Festival.
Goethe - Institut Max Mueller Bhavan an exhibition of paintings titled Gems Of Jatra showcasing photographs by Soumya Sankar Bose. The photographs on display captures some of the popular figures of JAtra tradition, who now unenployed. The Jatra has been a famous folk theatre form of Bengal, employing dialogue, monologue, songs and instrumental music to tell stories. An engineer by degree, Soumya Sankar Bose is an independent photographer and most of his work revolves around his own place and own people.
